i heard a lot of issues about echo and i have the same problem as most people. the solution seems to be ticing the select box under the microphone option in the recording control panel and when i tic it. it doesn't have a check mark. this is startign to piss me off and i wanted to know if anyone knew a solution to this. here's a screenshot of what i mean.

Do you audio console that control the sound also? I think the realtek one looks like a play button icon by the time.

yeah i have that. it doesn't do much except it makes the sound sound different such as makign it sound like your in the mountains or underwater
EDIT: ok i right clicked on that and the same screen came up but i could actually select microphone now. I did it and now i can't hear myself talk in the mic but i'm still having an echo. now i'm confused :|
That was the play back menu. You need the recording part of it. I wish my I had my brother's computer here so that I could take screen shots for you.
