Hi,
A thousand questions to ask but not all in the right order:)
My major problem is that for the last 4 weeks when I connect to our clans TS server and while in game, everyone talks as if they have the stutters, once out of game every thing is OK.
Yes I have updated sound drivers, gfx drivers, upgraded cpu and mobo.
Bought a set of Sennheiser headphones +mic still no change, bought another set of phones, this time USB, thought even a numpty can't muck this up and bingo still the same.

I must admit since having a uber geek who I Believe might be a Pig farmerhelp me tweak my controls.......voices do seem a bit more human.
The online game is from the Steam family.
Checked with internet provider and have clearance clance from them on the line.
Contacted Creative thinking that it might be a sound card issue, but tbh I can hear everything else, so won't hold my breath.

Your my last hope Obi Teamspeak Kenobi, help me shake of these leper robes and hear what people are saying.

Please note if you require any info from me, imagine you are trying to teach an apple to talk, as I will need step by step guidance.

Ta

What are your computer specs.

Most here the stutter with the Codec is too high for your bandwidth.

Had a look on the back of the Cornflakes packet and:

Creative X-fi Platinum sound card
Windows XP Pro

BT Line
Provider = Zen

Phew .................I'm off for a lay down

Little update:
Have changed bandwidth from unlimited to 17 and have tested up to 32 in upload and download....still stutting but not as bad as before.
Out of game every voice is fine:)
just happens while in Game

Does the in game have voip?

Some research:
Also steam seems to required bandwidth to use, something that most likely is causing the stuttering that you are getting.

IF you do not use it then disable it. Bandwidth is your problem. Also if you can get them to lower the codec that is being used no the server it will help some.
