Hi there
i've already read through the whole forum but i couldn't find a solution for my problem.
I couldn't unmute myself so i changed Settings > Sound Devices > Sound Driver from 'default (oss /dev/dsp)' to 'default network (8780:L)'. This finally DID unmute the mic in TS.
But this device won't work. I'm not that expert on Linux but i think i can say that something called 'default NETWORK' with something looking like a portnumber won't work.
I've tried the option 'other' as well but typing '/dev/dsp' just mutes the mic/headphones in TS like before. so this seems to be a device error BUT i know it worked until I mutet myself in TS.
I attached the last mixer setting i tried. please note the 'ADC' has to be on as i discovered, seems to be the 'Analog Digital Converter'..however.
btw i'm using Kubuntu 6.06
i know this topic is getting annoying and somehow i'm sorry to ask again. Maybe someone can tell me something more as i've read so far.
Thanks in advance
