View Full Version : Query Port not working since TS Security update

Since I applied the critical security update from this official website a few weeks ago it seems that the TCP Query port is no longer working.

I have a customer that uses TSViewer and it is no longer able to see the TS server after the update.

I have changed nothing else on the server at all. I don't understand what the problem is.

In the server.ini it still shows:
TCPQueryPort=51234

as it always did.

Can someone help please ?

Make sure to update to the 2.0.24.1 version.

Try netstat -aon and make sure the port is there. That check your firewall and make sure as most are picky and will recognized that the executable is a different file and your rules will not work anymore.

updating to the 2.0.24.1 version fixed it. I had already applied the security update but didn't know there was different versions of this patch. I had applied the earlier security patch.
