View Full Version : superadmin/admin not working

Ok, I have the passwords, and they are correct. I have triple checked them versus the log file just to make sure, and even have used copy/paste to put them in.

My problem is, when I go to the superadmin portion and type in "superadmin" and then the password, it throws me to the admin screen. I type that one in, and it just blinks and acts like nothing happened. Rinse and repeat.

Eventually, if I try enough times, I may actually connect and get the menus on the left side. But if I dare to click on one of them, I get the admin login screen again.

So far, I feel like the Keystone Cops trying to set this up. I've uninstaled and reinstalled the server multiple times, and have rebooted as well as released and reset my ipconfig. Nothing is giving me the screens for superadmin or admin that I can use.

Anyone have any ideas? I downloaded the lastest client as of today, and even took the beta one to test.

I appreciate any help.

lol,
Your webadministration port is not forwarded correctly.

I didn't see a setting for that in the server.ini file. Are you referring to the general 8767 setting? I have that forwarded.

I appreciate the laugh at my expense, because I am sure it is something so stupid I am going to hit myself over, but can you be a little more specific about what I have my head up my backside about?

Are you blocking cookies? Do you have Zonealarm?

I do have Zone Alarm. I don't know if I had it set up to block cookies or not, but I can check, and if so, disable that block.

ZA has a problem with identifying localhost as 127.0.0.1. You can check the ZA forums for it there is a fix yet, but I used to almost shutdown ZA to get it to work. You can go on another computer and access it perfect just ZA and localhost do not work.
