I am aware of the other topics on this but none of the answers solved my issue. I use a headset but I cant get my mic to go through TS. I play Counter Strike: Source and it works fine. Just can't get it to work with TS. I set up push to talk got my tab key in and no volume will go through (yes im pushing the button) I've checked the box for 8-bit thingy (didnt work before but recommended in other topic) So here I am, please help!
Does the green light light up?
Can you hear yourself when you do a local test?

I know this may sound stupid, but have you selected the right sound device?

Hello All,
I have problem aswell it seems that my Ts2 Works Perfectly.
The only problem is that when i start up Css, ingame it starts glitching the screen and then just quits after a random time (like F10).
It goes totaly back to my windows skipping my main screen of Counterstrike.
It seems that the problem just came out of nowere! BUT!!! usinge Ventrilo, nothing happens. A friend of mine had the exact same problem but thought is was his 1GIG ram. I have 3GIG, worked fine then, but suddenly has the same problem my friend had!
I hope this can be fixed i love Teamspeak and hope to be able to keep using it!!
Help Anyone? =(

Im having the same problem, my mic works in vent, it works in the voice recording on XP, the sound settings are turned to max, I set a key to push to talk, it light doesn't even light up, very frustrating problem. I've tried reinstalling teamspeak and no luck there either. Note: it also doesnt work under voice activation

Same problem. Any luck fixing this?
I had the same problem running Vista- very frustrating!
I found that when any program needed me to give permission to launch- TS could no longer detect when I wanted to access my mic.
To fix I turned off the User Account Control (Control Panel - Security Center - scroll to the bottom and follow the path to turn off and confirm).
I should point out that I'm not advocating bypassing your security settings and doing this may leave you vulnerable. Also, you will need administrator access to turn this feature off.
TS working great for me now.

I'm using XP, I have this problem, and I can't simply "turn off" user account controls as you say, plus my account is administrator anyway. I've looked for the setting all over control panel.
same problem! Just bought the mic, wich works perfectly with any other application (tried recording with audacity and other programs).
On teamspeak the light don't become light green, as nothing arrives at all. My soundcard is the one of the motherboard (gigabyte ga-p35-ds3).
