Ok firstly I would like to know is it possible to run a t.s server off another p.c. Also if i decide to do this would i still have to pay for a teamspeak server or is it free if i run it myself.....

Also if it is possible and free could someone please run thru the steps fro setting it up...
The p.c i have is very basic, also it has no server systems running on in such as windows server. It is currently running windows xp.

I would very much appreciate the help thank you.

If you are already hosting the server on another pc:
All you need to do is first install the TS server program on the new computer and then transfer, from your old pc, the server.db file and the server ini file to the new computer that you want to host the server on.

First time hosting:
This should help

The link I posted show you have to setup a server.

TS is free as long as you do not break some rules. Mainly, not receiving any type of "payment" and do not have more than 1000 people on at a time.

There is nothing extra that you need to run ts other than ts. I have ran it on XP home, XP professional, and currently running it on Vista Business, without having to install anything but TS.

Ooo wait I got one more question... What ever computer the server is on, will it have to be always turned on or can it just have a perm internet connection?
