View Full Version : Sometimes The Server Works Other Times It Want Work At All?
Hello,
Iv got a server that i set up, well sometimes it works while other times it want work at all when people try to join my (WAN) ip address they either join and we talk and play games or this message pops up for them:
[19:30:28] No reply from server
Maybe the server is offline
or maybe teamspeak is not running on it
Well I think i did everything right i added my port thought my router (:8082 = UDP)
Also i added (51234 = TCP) Thats all i know what to do o yea (I do not have a firewall It is tured off) If you have any thing that may help or can tell me iv done something wrong please post here or join my server (If you can lol)

+ I cant even join my server through my (WAN) ip I got to use my (LAN) ip (In the past iv been able to join throught my wan but the last copply day i havent been able to this message pops up:

8080 is the typical web proxy or local web server address.

well that what i made it (i went in the SSA and changed the port) also u can try 8081 and 8082 if that make you fell better...:)

What is the address of the server?
What is the UDP port of the server?
(I am trying to give you a hint.)
This is the exact thing thats happening to me, my address is: 209.89.34.233.8767 and i get the exact same problem!!! some ONE HELP1!!:(

It should be 209.89.34.233:8767
Well iv tryed many ports as for my address idk what you talking about.. i dont think i can change my wan address..
If you server udp port is 8082, then that port has to be forwarded and unblocked in the firewall.

and i just cant seem to get it to work. it just keeps saying "no reply from the server, the server may be offline or not connected with teamspeak."

[1] NO FIREWALL!!!! (I TURNED IT OFF)
[2] ALLREADY WENT INTO ROUTER AND ADDED IT TO THE ALLOW SECTION
[3] THE ANSWERS YOUR GIVING ME ARE LIKE THE ONES I GOT WHEN THE SERVER DID NOT WORK FOR ANYONE. IT WORKS FOR SOME PEOPLE SOMETIMES AND OTHERS TIME IT DONT.
Ex:
day1-friend joins ts server we talk and have fun
day2-friend trys to join ts server no replay from server blah blah blah...
day3-friend trys again no replay from server blah blah blah...
day4-friend joins ts server "like wtf man why the hell could i not join for the past 2 days?"
Now this could happen over hours even mins
(other note)( i changed nothing at all in the times when the friend could and could not join)
P.s.
Sorry for being so pissed off its that iv had this prob for mounths now and no one can help me they all think im stupid and have my fire wall on or havent allowed the port through my router..
Anyone going to try to help me?

If it is Your own server installed on Your PC - You typically can't connect to it using WAN IP.
Use Your LAN IP or localhost instead.
WAN IP is for people outside if Your LAN.

I am expirencing this EXACT same error. I have been working on it for the past 2 days now, and I am no closer to solving it. I can tell you why it is happening though because I have figured it out that far. It is because your computer is sending out the server information correctly ie: your firewall is not blocking it. HOWEVER, I am almost 100% confident that for me at least, the information from a client that is trying to enter my server IS being blocked by the firewall. This could be for a number of different reason like something else is trying to send something out of the same port to which the information is trying to get in. So, while your server is clearly on-line and teamspeak is running, this colistion of information will make it look like the server is off-line. This might also explain the inconsiticies with this error. It is with my greatest regret, that I cannot tell you how to solve this issue. If someone else has the answer, please feel free to share.
