Hello all, I seem to be having the opposite problem from everyone else; I pass the test on the websire for external verification of the server, but I cannot connect from my own LAN.
Let me give some details to make it easier (hopefully).

I have one client and one server, the client computer is running XP and the server runs 2003, I have my router go into a switch, from there each computer has a direct connection to the switch, nothing else in the middle. My router is configured as the firewall, and the server is not running one right now while I figure this out. I can ping both directions on my lan fine, and filesharing is no problem either.

I set up a registered account, but I immediately get bad username or password when trying to connect from my xp client using 192.168.xxx.xxx of my server. Also putting the port or not after the IP makes no difference either. Also, "localhost" with or without port is a bust.

This is a fresh install of 2003 with sp2, I know everything else works because I can game over the LAN. I am at a complete loss here...

Can you connect from the machine that is currently running the server?
