TS Help please

A clan member is trying to join our ts. When he joins his mic is muted (Mute icon on) and he cannot talk only hear. His sound card is es1688. when he starts his computer he tells me his mic is already in use but he does not know by what. Can anyone help?

That means that Teamspeak doesn't detect an input. Try looking Settings -> Options and mess with the options under the "Input" box.

Also try changing from wave to direct in the TS Settings.
