I've downloaded the version of Team Speak from the
"Windows" yet when I click on the client on my desktop to open the portal I
get an error that has the header "16 bit MS-DOS Subsystem" with subtext
C:\DOCUME~1\Owner\Desktop\TS2_CL~1.EXE
The NTVDM CPU has encountered an illegal instruction.
CS:0000 IP:01b3 OP:f0 14 00 00 c0 Choose 'Close' to terminate the
application.
Close Ignore
When I press Ignore it just comes back to the same thing above with no
progress, if I click close then I'm back to square one trying to open the
application.
Do you know what the possible problem is? user error?
Thanx,
hope to get on board

What version of windows do you have?

Have you tried redownloading the install file?

I tried deleting and reinstalling the client, and I still get the message, or I'll go to create an icon for it and when I click on it the black text box will flash on screen and disappear and that's it.

My operating system is XP.

thanx for any assistence

Check Your system for viruses, redownload client install and compare md5 hash after downloading.
