My mate can't even make the green led glow...

Hello Folks, pls help us:

My mate bought a new PC (sound card: cmedia6501), he installed TS2. No matter he use press to talk, or voice activation, the green little led doesnt even glow...even at press to talk...any ideas?

Thanks, new driver for soundcard fixed the problem...but it was quite weird.
