I get the error:
Socket Error #11001 Host not found
I've triple checked the IP I'm trying to connect to, and verified that my mates can log on to it. I'm running McAfee for a firewall, but teamspeak has been granted access, so I don't see why it would be a problem. Any ideas?

yup, I've checked and double checked the ip address (and the proper "." and ":" locations).
What is the ip?
Have you tried connecting while you have turned McAfee off temp.

Hi I am having the same problem. Every time I try to connect I get the following "Host not found. Socket error #11001".
I think it is a the message refers to an internal windows setting. How to change it I would love to know. My operating is windows 2000 professional.
I would be glad to hear from anyone who can supply the solution.
Many thanks for reading my message, and hopefuly someone will supply me with an answer.
