connection problems

hi

i have just upgraded to vista and am using a netgear dg834g wireless router connecting using a ethernet cable and i cant connect to teamspeak nor connect when i have set up a server, when i used a adsl modem with xp i had no probs connection, im not sure if i should be enablin any options in the router nor do i know how to access these settings within the router

my isp is aol and my firewall is bullguard

any info would be of great help
