Cant see users in other Channels

When I or anyone else goes into a channel, I am unable to see them, and they cant see me in the channel im in. Its very hassling because, and i no this is going to sound stupid, but we cant find each other :P. Just wondering if anyone has had this problem and how you fixed it.

Change the server type from public to clan server.

It is in the faqs. < Might contain more information how to do it.
