CPU Spike

I have noticed that every time I log onto TS2 my CPU usage jumps from 2-3% p to 90+% causing other programs including my internet connection to slow down or freeze.

I am using windows XP SP2
Pentium 4 3.00ghz
1.5gb ram
DSL connection

I have several other voip programs but this seems to be the only one where I have this problem.

Any help would be appreciated.

I did download the latest version but I get the following error message when I try to install it;

Error loading Hawlvoice Library (hvdi.dll) maybe not installed

My older version 22.032.60 still works fine.

I have been observing my CPU usage through Task manager and following is a snapshot of my CPU usage before and after teamspeak is loaded;

Before

When I open any other client while teamspeak is running the CPU usage can spike into the mid 90% range.

I'm sorry I don't have the proper vocabulary to explain this in a better way but this kind of problem is way above my pay grade.

Any help would continue to be very much appreciated.

Take the updated executable and place it in the TS directory replacing the old executable.
