Hi,

I'm trying to use teamspeak via a proxy client(SocksCap) and it won't work, I just get ' bad use' or something, which seems to be happening to everyone who has tried. However, after all my searching I never found an answer. I know it involves something to do with UDP but I don't know what that means or what I need to do.

Is it possible to use a proxy with teamspeak?

Thanks

The proxy your are using is for TCP and ts uses udp. Two different protocols. TS3 will be able to handle TCP in which you can use a proxy.

Thank you. By proxy do you mean the ip or the program? The program shouldn't make a difference since i'm putting in ip addresses from a list right?

Proxy meaning the proxy program on the server that you are using as a proxy. If you notice the port that you enter to connect to a proxy is a tcp port.

Well not all IP's are tcp, correct? Couldn't I just find an IP list with udp ports which I could then put into sockscap and then load up teamspeak?

If you can find a udp proxy then yeah you can use it.
