Can't seem to get my mic working with TS. Got TS installed, I can login to my server and I can here everyone talking properly but I just can't broadcast. I unmuted everything in the Sound control pannel, capture and playback and I can here through my speakers myself talking but just can't seem to get it to go into the program...

Anyone got any suggestions on this?

Install alsa mixer from gnome or alsa mixer for gnome and i can speak with my mic on teamspeak this is the good part and the bad it's the level sound of mic switch low when restart my ubuntu. And i don't know,if there are some configuration to put the sound level at max everytime.

I hope, my info are useful to yours.

And i'm sorry but my english it's not very well.

alsa mixer bit didn't help me. I'm having the same problem here. running Ubuntu 7.10 with a SB !Live EMU10K sound card. Everything works fine under skype but i have absolutely no functionality with teamspeak 2.

When in the teamspeak room the green light is on, my mic and speakers are not muted in teamspeak or through the OS. I just get nothing using the alsa drivers.

When i switch over to OSS the little light in the room turns from green to the "mute speakers and headphones" icon.

I've put in several days work over a span of 2 months and not an ounce of success. :(

It turns out the mic output setting on my linux was too low for it to activate even the whisper voice activation setting. The only way I could get a sound out was by blowing into the mic.

I need help on finding a way to increase the mic output.

I have the same problem in Ubuntu 7.10

I can hear none and others cannot hear me.
And also when i select ogg then all is automatically muted without being able to unmute.

Seems a fix is needed specifically for Ubuntu 7.10??

ill keep a close eye at this thread.
