Although the linux client indicates a selection in the message area, I am unable to paste this info using standard X methods.

Is there something I'm missing? It would really be nice not to have to retype text data someone messages.

As far as I know you can't copy paste anything out of this area. It's a major pain. I could live without clicking on links to open them in a browser but not being able to copy them out of the message box is a major bummer. The linux client works but it has some pretty serious shortcomings. Oh well it's better than nothing (ventrillo).

(1) Yes the TS2 Linux Client has its short-comings (mostly due to the Qt2/Kylix situation that spawned it), these problems will no longer exist with TS3.
(2) You actually can copy things out of the TS2 client, but you don't just select the text, you press "Ctrl + C" after selecting to copy the text. Then you can insert it using standard methods.
