Time ban

I need help finding out how to set a time ban.

You need to tcp query to your server.
Then you can use the commands banplayer and banadd (if you are authed as superadmin).

With banplayer you can (time-)ban a player who is currently connected to the server.

With banadd you can (time-)ban an ip.
