At times of using teamspeak...people send text messages to a person or channel..etc etc.
The point here is that we never know when there is a text message there unless we tell each other vocally after we post the text...which is an additional step that can be eliminated quite nicely with the additional feature of specific tones.
The idea behind this..... add soft-tones for the following.
1 tone type for a 'send text message to player'
1 tone type for a 'send text message to channel'
1 tone type for a 'send text message to all'
The tones would be heard on clients receiving the information. Perhaps adding in another tone type for the addition of a "hyperlink" would be decent as well.
Distinguishing the message types with specific tones will not only alert the server-clients of messages but also as to what specific type of message was sent.
To be honest, even if this idea was used in the basic concept of:
1 tone type for all text message types, this would still be a VERY nice addition to your package.
Thank you for considering.
