It would be nice to have the TeamSpeak server program digitally signed so that I would not have to permit every time my computer starts up. Windows knowledge base is saying that you must trust every time unless it is signed.
Any help here would be greatly appreciated
I am working on creating one. You have to download the windows sdk, which is over a gig of download, to create a certificate. Then create the certificate from the exe file. If you want I can give you the much smaller certificate file and you will then have to add it to the trusted publisher store of you certificate manager when I am finished.

I can create one for both.

thank you, I really appreciate this. It would save me alot of headaches with the User account controls.
It is going to take a little while might have it tomorrow. Little busy with some RL things and first time doing this.

not a problem
thank you
I got the process down that I need to do to sign the files, just need to create a certificate that is valid for what vista wants.
Okay. I was successful and you would only have to install the certificate and overwrite the old exe with one with a sig, but it will still ask you like the other programs that you choose to run as an admin. You will have to click continue.
Have you find a way around that, either disabling UAC or another method.
EDIT: I wonder if TS is installed as a service and you just start it with a little batch script. <== Hell of a lot easier.

Ok I got the server to startup without clicking continue and allow. I set it to Run as administrator and then all my dbs and ini files were inactive, very weird. I then unticked the run as administrator and now it starts without the UAC problem. Now then my client is still making me go through the UAC and stuff, not a big deal there. I just wanted the server to start so if I am not home and my wife or son reboots it will start without bothering them. I did not want them to cancel the operation.
Problem is resolved
