My server only works when im on

Ok, whenever i'm on my server, people can get on, but as soon as i turn it off, everyone gets kicked from the channel, is there any way to fix this/make my server stay on? :(

No, i mean i turn my Server on, i talk for w/e amount of time, i turn it off for an hour and go do stuff irl, i come back and everyone says as soon as i closed it, everyone got kicked =\

Server has to be running all the time for people to be able to use it. Just like a car needs fuel to keep driving on its own..

If you close the sever they will have nothing to connect to
