Alright, this is a different post than what you all have already answered in the past, so please read through it thoroughly before answering.

I have installed the teamspeak server under Kubuntu linux 7.10, which has the apt repositories for it by default. I used Adept to install the server, not the downloaded source packages from the site. Server works great. Version number shows as 2.0.23.19.

I am migrating to a new server box and was going to do the old backup of my server.dbs and server.ini files for the migration. Problem is, I can't find a server.dbs file anywhere.

I did a sudo locate server.dbs to no avail. My server.ini file is located in /etc/teamspeak-server/server.ini

So how do i backup my users and configurations?

You can try audit daemon and track the events of the user that starts up TS.

check here:

/usr/var/sqlite.db

this is the default db location when using apt.
