Registering people to join

how do i make it so people don't have to be registered to join my channel? i can't find the option in administration.

EDIT: Please disregard this post. I was trying to move myself into one of the channels,
which didn't work. Selecting the channel and then "Switch to channel" does work.


I can't get this to work.

1. With an admin user, I have created several registered channels, no channel passwords.

2. In the server options, I have ticked "ChannelJoinRegisterred" for anonymous users.

3. I fire up a client and connect as an anonymous user with a server password.

4. I try to join one of the registered channels, but I stay in the default channel
and get an error message "Insufficient permission rights!". Nothing is written
to the server log.

I have tried to stop/start the server, untick and retick the option in the admin interface,
but no go.

Any suggestions?
