First off i would just like to say what an awsome job you guys are doing with Team Speak. I have tried to use many voice chat utilities but none seem to work as well and have as much versatility as TS does. Good Work.
I only can think of 2 things that would make TS a better tool/program for me.
1. when microphone input is muted i wish some sound(action) would tell me... something like "Hey stupid your mic is muted"
ie. I really like the voice activated mic feature and it works really well the only problem is when you want to do something where others dont have to be anoyed by the noise you create. So i created a bind to mute my microphone. And it works really well, only problem is that sometimes you overhear something in a conversation and want to add in it or something of that nature and you forget that your mic is muted. I say this only because i only run TS in the background as im running a game, so i dont get the opertunity to see the Mic Muted icon.
Does this ever happen to anyone else? i tried searching the forums but i didnt see nothing like this.
Anyways my sugesting would be to add a sound notification event/action for when your mic is in mute and someone tries to use it.
Im not sure if that makes much sence but when i mute the mic with TS i can still hear my self (headset) but windows handles this differently, it totaly turns the mic input off. Would there be a way of implementing this?
2. Text to speach... i know this have been discused alot in the suggestions forums but this is the only major thing i would love to see implemented into TS. I know you guys like to have everything cross platform compatible but im sure the majority of the users are Windows, why not add MS's text to speach engine? (i know i made it sound really easy.. and im sure its more involved) but i dont think it would be that troublesom.
Like i mentioned previously i use TS in the background and really wish it would tell me WHO joined/left the channel.
All and all TS is an amazing program, keep up the good work i just wanted to mention my suggestions/support for somethings i would love to see implemented in future versions of TS
