Hello,
Sorry if that question has ever been discussed here (and sorry for my english, I'm french).
I've been experiencing various problems with TS on my mate's computer, which OS is Vista (my own computer is also under vista rules :p however never had a problem with TS so far)
I think I had the "bug package" the most extensive on my mate's computer:
- pb with push to talk (I juste have seen the topics about it and will read them at lenght when I 'll have time)
- Many sound problems:
I have to check the sound configuration on vista and to do test (sound input/output options) everytime I want to log on TS, if not, people don't hear me well.
I'm a World of Warcraft player and if I log on WoW and after try to Log on teamspeak the result is: an awfull ears breaking sound on TS for everyone (except me ^^) Ok ok I log on TS BEFORE going on WoW.
BUT what is really "funny" is that people won't hear me well on TS if I don't have an over window opened over my TS window (I hope this is clear). Ok so far it's just a little problem...
The real (mind blowing for my little brain) problem is : when I cut my microphone (with the button on the microphone) it mutes me definitively, this means that when I push the button on the microphone again... well nothing happens, it's as if I was still mute. At the beginning I just had to go back on my desktop (with the game still running) and after some seconds people could hear me again, last week end it got worst, I had to shut TS and start it again in order to make it work again..
As I'm writting this I start to wonder if this problem could be related with the "push to talk issue" discussed on this forum?!? (Is it considered the same to mute the microphone... on the microphone, and to push a button on the keyboard? Yes you can call me brainless :D ... as long as you can give me an answer ou at least a clue on what's going on that computer)
Thank you in advance for helping me.
Information:
TS is running as admin and XP sp2 compatibility
There is no sound card on this computer so the motherboard is doing the job
The only things I change on TS is the voice activation level each time I test it and have to choose Speex(? not sure of the name) 19.5 in order to be "understandable" by other TS users.
I've tried with another microphone end the problems including the one when I mute my microphone are the same.
