Have TS use different input than Windows Recording Mixer

Daily, I record audio from the "Line In" so the "Select" box is checked in my "Windows Recording Mixer".

I would like Teamspeak to be able to use an independant input (Microphone) on the same sound card and not have it just select the default from Windows. I've searched the forums and this doesn't appear possible (at least not without a second SC), but I haven't seen this asked in years so perhaps this functionality has been enhanced.

Is this possible?

That only allows you to select different input devices, as in select between different sound cards. It does not allow you to select specific inputs on a given sound card.

Update your drivers.

Are you using wave or direct for sound?

On mine I can select between mic, line-in, stereo mix.

Currently using "Direct Sound", but clicking on "Wave" doesn't provide any other options either.

I will try and update my sound drivers and check.
