Connection problem modem and router.

I am having connections problems. When i connect directly to the modem. I can connect to teamspeak. but when I connect to my Linksys router, it wont allow me. Alot of other people are having the same problem but some can connect through a router. What do I need to do?

No. I'm directly connectd to the router.

I'm hosting this TS server on a server box. I can connect when connected to my modem but when i connect through my router it doesn't work.

The server is on your lan?

If so you have to use the lan ip.
And you have to configure port forwarding?

This server is in dallas, I live in Florida. I have not set my port forwarding. I'm not sure what to put. I have a linksys.

Okay, you do not need to set anything as you are not hosting the server.

As long as you can access the internet when connected to the router you should be able to connect to the TS server.
