Mic Really Quiet

Hey,

i have had TS with Vista 32 for a while now, until recently it doesnt pick up sound properly. If i shout really loud i can just hear myself if i turn my speakers up. Yet, in the sound options (windows), all the volumes for the mic/line in are maxed, i have even tried the mic boost.

Also, in the sound options, it reads the sound fine, the bar goes up to near full as if the sound was perfectly normal. To prove it works ok (not in TS) i used the sound recorder, and i could hear myself perfectly fine. My sound drivers are from Sigmatel Audio.

Any ideas on a solution (i hope)

I have the same exact problem with mine. I'll have all the sound bars turned to max, but my clanmates say it sounds like I'm really far from my mic. Only difference is that i have XP SP2. Wierder is that just yesterday I had it working fine, they could all hear me perfect. But today, it was back to normal. Any suggestions?
