TS2 RC2 - Quake3 Hickups - WinXP

I have sound and game hickups now and then. Every few seconds the picture freezes for part of a second and the sound hickups aswell

this is since I installed TS2 RC2 ...

help me pls, how can I correct that

I have a SB Audigy Player with newest drivers :(

I think CL have screwed up their SB drivers, I downloaded and installed the latest drivers to find a hole host of bugs with XP.

Now, I've used TS2 with Q3, and my frame rate used to half when using TS with newest SB drivers. so I uninstalled them and installed the ones off the CD and now I'm a hoppy chappie again.

BTW, I have a SB live 1024 plat running XP pro SP1, Q3 with erm, latest service pack:confused:
