ok well after a day of playing around, i have the server up and running. people can connect, except one friend from the Uk no matter what we do he cant connect, ive already forwarded all the ports, firewalls ect... ran the server test and it all checks out,he also tries to run a server and it all checks out and i cant connect to him either,he also has forwarded all of his ports ect...and shut off firewalls, and both servers show up on the weblist
seems hes the only one who cant connect to my server, anyone have any ideas at all? ive gone as far as to shut off all my firewalls aswell, even know i know everyone else connects fine so its not likely the firewall, hes running Vista and im on xp pro,we tried running his ts in Adminstator mode and in xp mode nothing works,
so if anyone has somthing im missing let me know plz
like i said hes the only one who cant connect and server shows on his weblist lol its messed up

Ask him to perform a trace route to your server.

Vista does not have the run command avaiable by default on the Start menu. So you can just use the window key and R to get to the run command.

Start>run>cmd>tracert <server ip only, no port number>

Does he have a high ping to your server?

If he is connected wirelessly it could be a problem of high ping and lossing packets from wireless.

Do you have anyone else from the UK that can not connect.

I have a Vista Ultimate 64 and Vista Business 32 if you want me to try to connect to see if it is a Vista Problem.
