Webserver install?

Hi there.
I want to have my Teamspeak server at my webserver.
Im running a VPS server at apthost. I have full SSH and root access and im allowed to run scripts.
Im not that experienced with this so... I have read some posts here but cant figure it out.
Create a user on your system by typing the command (adduser nameofuser)? How and where do I do that? WHM or in Cpanel?
Is there a Tutorial for installing on a webserver?
