OK, so please read the whole problem before telling me to read other threads.

Ive downloaded the teamspeak client and server software and installed. Set everything up as it should be, but i cannot get onto the server i have created. The error message is: No reply from server Maybe the server is offline or maybe teamspeak is not running on it
I have read post about portforwarding so have done all this and tried to follow as many steps as i can that others have suggested. I am completely lost as to what is wrong. would really appriciate any help.

Make sure to use your lan ip and not your wan ip.

i have followed all this and still it isn't working. My dad has worked with computers for 30yrs, installing, building and general maintence and he cannot get it to work either. I have also gone to the routers own guide to portforwarding as well as the portforwarding site given, and it still isn't working.
