i recently installed teamspeak
from the moment i open this program, my sound gets fucked up, like cracking and almost like my computer cant follow the song, its even slower some moments...

after some seconds/minutes i get the blue screen and can restart.
i also got a logitech webcam installed

-trying to change to wave crashed emediately
-using a different decoder the same
-changing in/ouputdevices didnt change anything
-yes i tried them all

input:
-primary
-logitech microphone ( messenger )
-sigmatelaudio

output:
-primary
-sigmatel audio

the microphone i use is a cheap headset, dunno why its named logitech microphone though cuz it isnt, maybe just a preference from that logitech program with webcam

anyway, i cant find anything to solve this, i reinstalled both programs and my sounddriver, hope someone can help me..

Try installing and running avg free anti virus.

What does the BSOD say is causing the problem?

as far as i know AVG is shit, i use a legal version of McAfee virusscan...

BSOD ? is that the text on the blue screen, or the frame u got after restarting with some windows error information

The white text on the screen.

Try installing it, update the definitions and run it. If it does not catch anything you can continue to call it shit. Hell it comes with an uninstaller.

:D i found what was causing it, seems logitech gave me the wrong driver cd with my webcam, this cd is for a webcam + build in microphone, which i dont have, removed it and downloaded the right package, everything works fine now, still thanks for helping me out ;)

Ahh. Would have been nice if they gave you the better product of the two instead of the wrong drivers.

Surprised the device took the drivers, most of hardware would get pissed and not accept the wrong drivers in the first place.
