View Full Version : Linux IP Problem
Hi i have my linux ubuntu running and i want to open the port 8767 on my router but it doesnt accept the internal ip of my linux server: 192.168.59.128
It says Invalid IP!
Can you help me changing my linux internal IP?
Or let my router accept the internal IP?
What is the router ip address?
Router IP: 192.168.0.2
Need some other info as well?
Cause im still working with VMware to test linux cause i know some guy that will host a server for me and.. another question: How can i get TSPerlMod working on my linux server.
INFO:
I have cable internet but also CAN use my wireless.
And with VMware i use the: "VMnet8(NAT)" Connection
The other IP info:

Subnetmasker. . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0
Standaardgateway. . . . . . . . . : 192.168.0.2
Ethernet-adapter LAN-verbinding:
Verbindingsspec. DNS-achtervoegsel:
IP-adres. . . . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.0.100
Subnetmasker. . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0
Standaardgateway. . . . . . . . . : 192.168.0.2
Depending on your the adaptor that you are using.
You internal ip should be 192.168.0.*
Where * is either 100, 107, or 106.
I do not know why you where trying to put 192.168.59.128.
Cause it was automaticly but i changed it in my windows but my router wont really open it cause linux isnt running on that ip very weird :S
