i have gone through my modems "DMZ (Demilitarized Zone)", added a bunch of ports to its port mapping, then went to windows firewall and added the ports..

then went to no-ip.com and made a free account

and still it says "error teamseak may not be running it" common message when i try to use the static ip or domain name given with the : port at end.

only works for my home ip: port (192.168.etc.etc: port)

i ran the test i saw on other threads and it says it connects...

"The UDP connection test finished without errors!

The UDP test could establish a connection to your TeamSpeak server. Your voice server can be accessed by anybody anywhere on the Internet.

The TCP connection test finished without errors!

The TCP test could establish a connection to your TeamSpeak server. Your servers TCP query interface can be accessed by anybody anywhere on the Internet.

The HTTP connection test finished without errors!

The HTTP test could establish a connection to your TeamSpeak server. Your servers web interface can be accessed by anybody anywhere on the Internet.

But first, please understand, that you CANNOT connect to your own external IP address, just because it is external AND your own. It is much like looking into your ears... One day you succeed in that without a mirror, you may try to connect to your WAN address directly from inside of your LAN once more. But I still doubt it may work.
