Ignoring the fact that ISP's mislabel bandwidth, how large is the data transfer from/to a server when one person speaks, when the codec is Speex 19.5? With an unspecifried number of people, of course.

One person talking with an unspecified amount of listeners in the channel? Why that leaves us with a unspecifiable server bandwidth usage :).
The data flow *to* the server will be approximatly 19.5 KBit/s, the data *from* the server linearly depends on the unspecified amount of listeners.

Let's say we have 5 people in the channel, then. Would the server transmit 19.5 KBit/s to each person?

No! The server will only send 19.5 KBit/s each to 4 people, one of the 5 is the guy talking remember? :p

lol DVOwhat? :P

Id if someone echo's you get a multiplier, to 4 persons, 1 echo's thus again to 5 persons.. Ad Infinitum looping.. :D Since the one making the echo usually also picks the out going sound back up..
