View Full Version : Admin Signing!
Hi there,
I have a server set but for some reason i can only sign in to my superadmin settings account through my browzer and change things but i am unable to sign in to the admin account settings. I have been trying from day one and to date have not been able to log in to that account.I ha the same password that was given to me for that account and have tryed it numerous ways on how it looks. I did install a program to show me the passwords but then after installing it i noticed that it only shows the superadmin details.
If it helps!
I am running windows xp sp2
Internet explorer 6.0....(Just cant take to that ie7 version)
Hope this all helps any more info please feel free to ask.
Regards

There is server admin then there is superadmin. Which one are you talking about?
Hi there,
Im talking about the server admin...When right clicking the server icon and selecting adminstration you have the choice of superadmin and admin and when signing up to team speak it gives you the two usernames and passwords to sign in superadmin works fine abut cant get in to the admin account. Mind you i am sure i dont need to tell you that lol...I do babble on sorry lol
Just to make sure, what is the address of the login page?
Hi there,
The address is as follow: http://localhost:14534/login.html
Okay that is the correct address for the reg. admin account.
Make another reg. admin account and try to login with that.

Have you entered right server port also? You must tell the TS, what server you want to administer, so it can check your login/pass against that server.
Hi BHKai and ANR Daemon
When you say reg account do you meen sign up again and make a compleatly new account?
Regarding the ports yes i have forwarded the ports as ilastrated in the setup guides...
Everything works perfactly other than me getting in to that one account.

Not forwarding.
Server Admin login required 3 parameters.
Admin login name.
Admin login password.
Server port number. <- this one you must supply correctly too.
Hi there,
Ok i think i should explain what i have done maybe this will explain what the problem im having.
I have installed the teamspeak server and teamspeak2 client, signed up my account. i have allowed access throu my router using ports (TS1) 14534 / (TS2) 51234 / (TS3) 8767 and i have also given firewall rules on the router for (TS 1,2 and 3) and given access throu the lan server ip address using inbound services as was stated on the setup guide on the portforward.com website for my router. Also i have given access on my pc router.
Now the router runs perfectly the TS2 client runs perfectly i can sign in to the client and enter my server. I can also right click my server and sign in to (Service adminastration account login for superadmin settings account using (http://localhost:14534/slogin.html) to log in.
Now when i go to the (server administration account login and try to sign in to the admin/client login using (http://localhost:14534/login.html) and enter the other logging details (user name) admin (password)****** (Server port) 8767 It will not log in as if the password is wrong and thats where the problem is. The firewall im using is part of my norton internet security 2008 package and the router im using is a netgear 54 mbps wireless adsl2 + modem router (DG834G) and followed the infomation on this site.
I hope its ok to paste this site on here just to so you what i have done for the router..if not i appologize. This is the page i used (http://www.portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/Netgear/DG834G/TeamSpeak.htm)
Kind regards

1. Do NOT forward TCP ports unless you 100% sure you need to do that!!!!
Damn i'll poke portforward guys with a stick if i see tham one day.
2. If you have trouble logging as server admin, that probably because you have damaged httpdocs directory.
Try to connect to telnet port and verify your login actually works.
Be warned that you must type numbers on main keyboard, not on numpad!
Start - run: telnet.exe
In the telnet window, type the words marked with ">", expected answers inserved as separator lines:
> open localhost 51234
[TS]
> sel 8767
OK
> login admin_name admin_password
OK
> quit
// Will disconnect you from server
Hi there,

Yes thats the correct format for a TS telnet login.
Dont forget to select the correct port in the "sel" command, I asum from the above posts, your just using the default 8767.
Andy
Hi crazyandy,
Well i have as posted above set up the 3 ports that was on the portforward website ((TS1) 14534 / (TS2) 51234 / (TS3) 8767) but im unsure what all free are for but i have tryed the telnet access using the user name and password i was given by teamspeak but it keeps comming up with error: invalid login, so as you can imagine its baffled me lol especialy as everything else works including the superadmin signing.

Ok, so you have wrong login credentials.
Get the SQLite manipulation tool and see what your password really is, or just delete server.dbs and start from scratch (assuming it is your first server setup and you have no real data stored in server configuration).
Or just create another regular admin account for the server and try loging in with that. Since you have access to the webadmin with the superadmin account you should be able to access and create a reg. admin account.
Thankyou all for your help i will give it a try on making a new server and admin account.

Jaffa
