I just want to understand a thing .There's a blog about TS3 :

http://www.teamspeak.com/?page=blogarchive&ident=20080221

from Feb 21, 2008 .

There's something i read

y. We are currently working with a small group of hand-picked companies that want to add VoiceCom functionality into their product.

That mean that you won't work for individuals? Or TS won't be free?

I find a press release :

http://www.teamspeak.com/?page=press&ident=20070904

from Sep 4, 2007 ...

It means that since 2007 , you work with them ?

Thx for all responses of TS team :)

If you would have looked further and used the search you would have seen that TS will remain free to use for individuals. That's what made TS2 so big. I do think the TS team thoroughly realises that if they are gonna charge money for it they will lose most of the people using it now...

"Currently, the TeamSpeak development team is focusing most of its efforts on TeamSpeak 3. Our current goal is aimed at a full release in early 2008. "

Heh heh.. they might want to consider updating their About Us page.. Based on what it says, TS3 is supposed to be out right now.. We're mid year at this point.. well past early.

Yeah, indeed this Forum and the TS3 Team policies are quite amusing :D I'm really curious which other surprises (maybe still some license changes? :P ) are awaiting us...

And what I completely don't understand is the (not existing) community management here. There is just absolutely no reason to spoil a maybe good piece of software with such a behavior... the TS3 Team could simply grab same student, give him 100 bucks/month and tell him to keep the blog and hp at least a bit up to date and care a little bit about the forum (in a more friendly and professional way in which they do it on their own of course); this should be absolutely no problem if they supply this student at least with a very tiny bit of information :D
... but well, this way I have every 2 or 3 weeks when I check this site again something to smile about :p

HAH!

Who believes in this? Teamspeak 3 will never ever come!
I'm wondering why the development of such a small voice chat program takes sooooooo long...

Look at the post from Dec 5, 2005:

There is no official release date set for TeamSpeak 3 at this time, however, we are aiming for a release sometime in early to mid 2006.
Jeah 2006....

In the next post they will tell that the release will be in 2009. Like this it will go on and on and on....
