Dear all,
Searched for similar threads but couldn't find any.
I moved onto Vista 64-bit with a new PC a fair few months ago. No soundcard, but onboard from an ASUS P5KC combo Intel P35. Other system specs are Q6600, 4GB ram, 8800GT.
Now when I use Teamspeak, after a while I start to have crackly sound. I can still hear everything that's going on in-game/on Teamspeak, but there is a crackle interrupting things quite frequently. Additionally, it lags my PC as if it is using most of the processing power or RAM. I can continue playing games with it, so it obviously isn't doing that, and I have checked Task Manager and couldn't see anything that might be causing the problem.
A restart or logging out of Windows and logging back in fixes it temporarily.
Has anyone got any ideas of how to fix this?
I have just tried swapping the drivers from Direct to Wave, but I am not hopeful.
