View Full Version : Login Problem - User already logged in.... (for every server)

I have a very interesting problem. Up until about a week and a half ago, I have never had a problem with my TS. Now, no matter what server I try to login to, it says either my "nickname is already in use" if I don't have a user name and password, or "This user is already logged in on the server" if I have login info on that server. I have worked with some of the server admins who have access to delete accounts, and we have deleted the accounts, reregistered using completely different info, and I logout only to get the same messages trying to login immediately again.

When I do login anonymously, there is always a number at the end of my name (usually 1, 2, or 3) signifying that the original nickname is already in use, but of course, there isn't anyone else on the server using that name.

I have also tried completely uninstalling Teamspeak from my computer - uninstalled from Programs (folder as well) and the folder in ../Document and Settings/Administrator/Application Data/teamspeak_RC2. Is there something else to uninstall?

As a side note, I don't have a problem creating a server on this machine and connecting to it. No issues there.

No one I've talked to has any clue. So I have finally come here. If you need any more information about either my system or router, please ask. Do any of you have a remote idea what could be going on? Thank you in advance!

Perhaps a screen shot of your connection screen. Are you using Quick connect or the other Connection? Have you tried the other way to connect?

A. try put there this address tpc.webyt.net
B. or click on this link (teamspeak://tpc.webyt.net/nickname=TSforum_logged)
what is result?

EDIT
ok some guy connected(forum unregistered) and he got Motorola modem he does live in USA and he does have LINKSYS router.
first after he loged in my server without any problems, I gave him example login and pass on myne server and the result was again loged in without failure(password wasnt much complex).
we located that the problem is in combination of Motorola modem and router LINKSYS by testing direct connection of pc with modem(result was no problem loging in on his server with his login info).

I also got a note that my speech sux. good to know .. even thru I know that cuz I cant practise much...

EDIT2: if you ever use the link above in this post try to stay longer(>20mins). guy who was there today went off before I told him anything lol. There is no kick-idles on myne cuz no reason.
writing first some failure way of contact isnt bad idea thro.
