I hope I am in the correct place to ask... Is it possible to assign or attach sound files (such as .wav or .mp3) to certain key stokes?

For example, say I want a sound file of "beep, beep" to play every time I press Ctrl+N... and have whomever I am chatting with at the moment also hear it?

If possible, how would I go about doing this or where can I go for information?

PS. I am a real newbie, so take it easy on the replies..:D

Easiest way to do that is find some soundboard software, or get macro program.

Check www.planetteamspeak.com for the TS soundboard software. Not the best but it is free.

I tried Sound Board Maker 1.0.07 < http://www.voyagerproject.org/projects/33-projects/49-sbm > as suggested.

The program kind of works, but my buddies on Teamspeak can not hear the sounds that I am playing. Either it does not work or I am going about this the wrong way. I can not find the documentation about Sound Board Maker and the web site is not helpful either.

I wonder if there is an alternative program that does the same thing as Sound Board Maker or at least what I want to do… even if it is a program that I have to buy ?

Most of the sound board programs that I have seen are expensive for just messing around.

You need to find something that will either let them hear sounds from you pc and be able to talk at the same time, or be able to switch from your pc being the input to your mic taking control.
