Hy all,

our clan has rent a server on a local ISP.
Since Friday were getting some strange messages when we try to login.

Something about our Server is on a blacklist or something like that. As usual we contacted our provider and claimed that some clan members cant login cause to this error message. They send us a strange patch that, somehow fixed that problem, but didnt give any explanation about what was going on.

So, as Im a curious guy. I would like to know whats all about that Abuse message and Teamspeak server blacklisting.

Server links us here. When we try to login. And not all mates only some.

Would be nice if I could get some more info about all this.

And the "patch" they gave you......... Go scan your PC and edit all your passwords.. last time i heard bout this "patch" it stole all your sensitive data.

Do not install any TS2 software from anywhere else except teamspeak.com. If your ISP is trying to "patch" around our blacklist that seems to be a good indication to me that they have no intentions of providing you with licensed TS2 slots, I would drop them asap and find some other hoster out there (see: http://sales.tritoncia.com/hosters.php )

Well I wrote on Monday a mail to that email address above and still got no response.
Further I had a look around to investigate what was going on. I saw more guys around the web complaining about getting blacklisted and then even if having a license you don’t get down from this list.
I also found that license ip checker over at triton page. I checked the IP of the server we rent and it looks fine to me.
“The IP address you entered is licensed.”
I´m not sure who’s fault this mess is, if it’s the provider or triton. But we still can’t login login at our rented server.
Yesterday night I contacted some friends at another clan that has a dedicated server and asked if they could set us up a temporary server instance, similar to ours. Changed our dns entry, and so far were back online.
But triton not responding to my mails and the server been on the licensed list, don’t throws a nice light to triton guys. Think someone is only doing half of the job.
