Maybe i'm not setting these up right, or perhaps I just have a different view of how these should be used... During Raids in our game, we commonly get players that want to "BS" during the raid event. However, this can become a(n) distraction/irritation for the battlemaster who is trying to coordinate attack plans with players who have never run the instance before.
My recommendation (if - once again, i'm just not setting this up right) is to have sub channels that can hear all communication in the root channel, but can at the same time have thier own conversation which is not broadcasted back up to the root channel...
