server redirect

it would be good if we could redirect our servers in one computer to another server in another computer in case of necessary reboot.

there is no such function at the moment, maybe teamspeak3 supports that kind of reconnect/forwarding

What would handle the redirect if the server is down. The only thing that could be possible is running another server, which would have to change the dns. It does not seem like something that can be implemented easily. and practical.

sounds like a phone home feature..
If A responds it will tell B to standby and when A does not "phones home" anymore B will kick in.. Im only wondering how the redundancy would work.. Since a IP's DNS doesnt resolve that quick..
I presume there has to be a master server for it to work.
