can someone help please

hi my name is michelle and i have a problem with my teamspeak i got a dell inspirion 531s it had vista on it but vista crashed my pc so i went and got a sound card and a video card to put xp on it and teamspeak was working fine then i had to format a few days ago cause i put a beta version of a virus scan on my pc it was a test trail is all for nortons 2009 and it messed up my pc so i had to format again and i installed the drivers for my sound card reinstalled teamspeak and now i can hear them but they cant hear me at all a friend heard my music when i was keyed down but he couldnt hear me can some one please help me with this thanks

You've selected an invalid input device. Open the Sound dialog using the icon in your Task Bar's tray. I've found this screenshot of the dialog via Google (I'm currently not on my Windows Vista computer):

thanks but that didnt work either i think im not sure but i think its my sound card thanks though
