My clan has 2 servers: a main and a backup.

Is there an easier way to select which server to join
than to enter the address?

For example:

Main server goes down. Is there a way to connect
to another server without exiting the game, entering
the backup address and connecting?

TIA

Ummmm. . . use connect, and save your server settings, instead of using quick connect.

Thanks for sharing your ignorance.

Hey, you're the one who's "entering the address" to switch servers.

My apologies. I was rude.

Your suggestion doesn't work.

Thankyou.

How can it not work? When you do what he said it saves the addresses and you just pick which server you want without typing anything in. How much more easier do you want it to be? What did you have in mind?

@30+Bigg

- use connect instead of quick connect
- right click and ADD new server
- add your two servers (they will be stored here for later reconnect)

Well, I don't know why. It just doesn't.

Maybe I wasn't clear.

Try this:

You log into your server. You start playing. The server goes dead.

You want to log into the backup server. What key do you use?

That's my question. How do you do that? How do you switch
servers WITHIN A GAME?

TIA.

That can be done by going to the settings menu and select Key Settings. Then you want to add a keybinding. The action is "switch to" and then "server." You have to put in the address of the server and pick what key you want to hit to do that. I didn't realize there was an option to bind keys for switching servers, but when I looked that option was there.

Thanks, dude. That was exactly right.

Again, thanks.
