Were you ever able to find a solution?? I'm having the same problem. Upgraded from Win XP Pro, Every thing in TS worked fine. Whin I installed Vista Ultimate 32 I started getting "TDSound.open (Direct sound create) No sound drivers available for use." Ive uninstalled TS three times, My sound drivers upgraded and installed twice and TS still will not work. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Marvin

Solution find at half. For vista user run ts-settings-options-in the sound devices tab select direct sound and not wave, that's wok for me...but now after the using of about 2-3hours of the program my sound go up and down and make some strange problems that put me to shut down down the pc and restart :(

I'm having this same problem. I'm using a USB headset.
What solutions have you already tried?
I've reinstalled TS twice. I get sound from other sources, so I don't think its a windows issue. When I first installed TS it worked with these headphones, then a couple days ago I get this error.
Try downloading the newest sound drivers for your pcs.
Try that.
Also have you tried that usb on a different pc to make sure it's not the headset?
I downloaded the latest drivers yesterday. I was hopeful because Logitech just updated their drivers last week, so I thought maybe that would be it. Alas, it was not. I get sound and music with windows and my games.
switch from direct to wave or vice versa
