hey guys,

i have a big problem.
i have the ts server program, i filled everyting correctly in in the settings.

the problem is:
i chearch in the web list of server to my server.
he's there.
i double klick on it.
it is connecting.
and then there stands:"No reply from server
Maybe the server is offline
or maybe teamspeak is not running on it"


but the server is online?!
the server ip should be: 88.197.232.216:8767

is the server in the same local network as your client ? , then you must use your local IP Adresse, for instance: 192.168.0.155:8767

yes, so i need to change the parts before the server port in my internal ip?

yes ok this works, I (!) can login now

but other people need to connect to the old one or the new one ?

you must connect with your local IP and oother people, outside your local network must connect to your wan IP, that is visible at whatismyip.com

so other people needs to connect with this ip: 88.197.232.216:8767 ??

i think it isnt working


and a problem with adding the Server IP in the teamspeak viewer.
it says:"Connection Problem: Server Query not possible - Timeout"

??

Do you opened the ports and route them ? ( also router 8767 to your PC at your network ? ) and do you disabled your Firewall ?

do you opened other ports and tested it with other programs?, maybe you make something wrong at this options ?

what programs do you mean?
also if my firewall is off, people cant join

you can test with "wireshark" if the port is correctly open then you should this at this program.

I only used one times this program, but it should be very good, because we need this in 2 weeks at networktechnical ( at school ).

But I meant, is that your first port opening with this router ?

then you should contact your provider / router company, or look at google for "port forwarding" with your routername, I cannot say you, how you make this settings, because I do not know about your router, or look at the documentation(s).
